Warranty and Product Quality
SAASE starters and alternators are manufactured according to ISO and QS 9000/9001 product certifications. This protocol demands that certain, rigid process control practices are followed in the making of every unit. As a result, warranty on SAASE products is set at two years or 250,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
Enclosed in every unit package is the warranty document illustrated below.
In the event of a warranty claim, call 888-598-8105 for warranty disposition and settlement. All warranty claims will be settled as a result of this contact, with satisfaction of the issue of primary importance. In normal circumstance, SAASE will detail the information (including validation of the warranty document noted above) and send a replacement unit. Freight on such events will apply as noted in our standard sales policy.
In order to initiate a warranty claim, please keep the applicable SAASE warranty document in your vehicle maintenance folder. A SAASE technician must confirm this information before replacement procedures are started. Once this is complete and we agree to send the replacement unit (or credit your account), we will issue a UPS call tag to you and ask that the warranted unit be sent to us for quality evaluation. All units returned would be tested and this data forwarded to you as part of our service pledge.
