Our version of this unit
comes equipped
with the voltage seek terminal that senses the battery voltage and adjusts
the power input from the alternator to compensate. If replacing a standard
34SI Quad unit, this connection need not be made (your old wire harness
may not have a “pig tail” connection to do so). No damage
will be done if this connection is not completed. If replacing a 35SI
Quad unit equipped with a voltage seek connection, you will be able to
use the existing wire harness connection to properly wire the 36SI unit
to the battery.
