In order to make the exact choice, please be sure to answer the following questions about your application:

  1. Does your starter have the same dimensions as shown?
  2. What is the voltage of your vehicle system?  It has to be either 12 or 24.
  3. How many teeth are on the starter drive.  The most popular will be 10, 11 or 12.
  4. Motors with 12 teeth gears have ½ inch mounting holes, those with 10 or 11 will have 3/8 inch mounting holes.
  5. Every 38MT is equipped with an OE type voltage boost switch.
