In order to make the exact choice, please be sure to answer the following questions about your application:

1. Does your alternator have the same dimensions as shown?
2. What is the voltage of your vehicle system? It has to be either 12 or 24.
3. What is the amperage output of the alternator being replaced?

This application has the new voltage seek connection that alerts the alternator to battery conditions that require additional voltage be sent from the alternator in order to keep the battery in top condition.

This unit can be used to replace the standard 34SI Quad mount type in every situation. If replacing a 34SI the connection to the voltage seek terminal need not be made (your old wiring harness will not have the proper pigtail for this to happen). This will not affect the performance of the new alternator. If replacing a 35SI, the wire harness will be in place to make the changeover to the higher amp 36SI complete with no changes to the harness routing.
