	Delco Type 39MT Delco and Mitsubishi make these types of starters that typically fit engines made from 2004 and later. Also they may be equipped with a voltage boost switch.
	Delco Type 40MT This starter is generally seen on vehicles that were built before 1990. Although not common, there is still a significant amount in service.
	Delco Type 42MT This starter type is the most popular current replacement starter, and is used extensively on all kinds of standard big bore diesel engines.
	Delco Type 50MT This is the largest of its type of starter in service and is typically seen on very big bore diesel motors (over 900 cu) such as Caterpillar and Cummins.
	Denso Type R5 This starter is a new type of design made originally by the Denso Company. The Denso R5 unit is a gear reduction starting motor used as an exact replacement for Delco type 42MT starters on Mack, Cummins, Volvo, Caterpillar and Detroit Diesel engines.
